I prefer the first animation because of the music and how it was put together, i like how it is quite interactive as the person is picking up pictures and then they begin to move it is really creative and interesting. I think the music impacts because it relates to the animation were as on the other animation they used random music and it doesn't really have a message. I think animations that tell a story are better so i will take that into consideration when i am making mine. The camera quality is also a big impact in the second video by marple college the camera quality was low. The animation by marple college looks very simple as you can see where as the 1st video used screen toast photography and it seems to contain alot more editing on the computer, i think she used photoshop and used multiple frames to create the moving images when she held up the photos in the stop motion.

SCREEN TOAST
my first attempt at screen toast.
Feedback from various students on my screen toast animation.
Anna: I like the style of the x-ray text. It looks so cool would definately stick in my mind because i've never seen that before.
Aaron: It could have been longer:) The usage of colour was alright.

Motion Stop Animation + Review of my work
This is my first attempt, I used 49 still frames to create this stop motion animation. This was a test animation i created to understand how stop-animation works, i made two simple stick characters in two different positions and i continuously alternated them after each shot so it made the stick man look like he was running. I used imovie to create it and added sound to it for extra effects. The idea is the little stick man is running along then he falls then starts being chased by a roll of cellotape then he moves out the way and it rolls past him.
Feedback from people in my class
Alice: Yeah i like it, it's different
Kelly: I like the choice of music
Jaudon: It's funny, sad it ended so quickly
Liam: I like the concept, it's really good.
Based on these people feedback i would make my next animation longer and pick an upbeat type of music.
